Renee Renata is the creative maker behind Eden Skye Design, a Carterton-based jewellery brand known for its handcrafted polymer clay earrings, vibrant colour palettes and community-focused workshops.
Originally created almost accidentally at the kitchen table while crafting alongside her son, Eden Skye Design has grown into a much-loved local business shaped by creativity, family life and connection with the Wairarapa community.
Named after her daughter, Eden Skye also carries a deeply personal meaning, honouring the memory of Renee’s son Beau through its connection to the sky and stars.
Alongside creating jewellery, Renee is actively involved in the local community through GoCarterton and her work supporting women and whānau across Wairarapa. Her workshops bring people together through creativity, encouraging confidence, conversation and hands-on making in schools, workplaces and community spaces.
Based in Carterton, Renee’s work reflects the warmth, resilience and creativity that continue to define the region’s local business community.
