Spring Coaching was founded by Josie Askin from lived experience of what happens when drive and discipline tip into imbalance. As an endurance athlete who experienced Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S), Josie learned firsthand how easily high performance can come at a cost when recovery and balance are overlooked. With over 20 years in performance and planning roles in business, that experience shaped a different approach to coaching – focused on sustainable habits, behaviour change and long-term wellbeing. When she’s not working, Josie is often out running, at Strength Nation either teaching Pilates or lifting, or enjoying coffee and something sweet at a local café.
